My name is Miles Jordan. I am a senior at Virginia Tech studying Sports Media and Analytics with an Organizational Leadership Minor.

I have had a passion for sports my entire youth and have always hoped to turn my passion into a career. Because of this, I chose to pursue a degree in sports media. I am highly interested in all aspects of the field, including commentary, studio production, photography, videography, and event coordination.

My most considerable interest and skill is writing, and I have nearly two years of sportswriting experience and three years of experience as Washington-Liberty High School's yearbook editor. At VT, I joined 3304 Sports, covering numerous Tech athletics, the Tech Lunch Pail as their men's and women's basketball beat writer, and The Predictors as a lead NFL and NBA writer. I am continuing to grow and improve as a young sports journalist.

My ultimate professional ambition is to work as a sports journalist, covering some of my favorite professional teams. I want to keep acquiring experience at VT and with professional sports organizations. I hope to use my organizational leadership skills to further my relationships with co-workers and contacts to achieve that goal.

On this website, you can find a portfolio of my work in class and extracurricular organizations.
